Conservation agriculture has no significant impact on sheep digestive parasitism

چکیده

Conservation agriculture (CONS A) is a sustainable system based on crop rotation with no tillage. It has various environmental advantages compared to conventional (CONV A): decreased water evaporation, erosion, and CO 2 emissions. In this first study of its kind, we aim evaluate the impact type sheep gastrointestinal parasites. Two lamb groups aged between 5 10 months were randomly included graze separately CONS A CONV pastures. Each group was composed two batches three lambs, these followed up for rearing months. Liveweight, hematological parameter variation, digestive parasites studied. At end period, lambs slaughtered carcass yield determined, helminthological autopsy performed tracts animals estimate different parasitological indicators. There difference reared those all parasite indicators (infestation intensity, abundance, prevalence). The same trend also obtained parameters, liveweight evolution, yield. These results prove that there sheep's parasitism. Further studies are needed support findings larger animal samples investigate conservation other species. Similar could be conducted ruminant

Finding of No Significant Impact

One of the primary purposes for preparing an environmental assessment (EA) is to determine whether or not a proposed action will have a significant impact on the human environment and therefore require the preparation of an environmental impact statement (EIS). As defined in 40 CFR 1508.13, a finding of no significant impact (FONSI) is a document that briefly presents the reasons why a federal ...

Conservation Agriculture: Impact on farmers’ livelihoods, labour, mechanization and equipment

Conservation Agriculture (CA) is defined as a concept for resource-saving agricultural crop production that strives to achieve acceptable profits, high and sustained production levels while concurrently conserving the environment. It is regarded as sustainable land management tool for agricultural lands. CA is based on enhancing natural biological processes above and below the ground. Intervent...

The Impact of the D727E Polymorphism has no Significant Role in Multi Nodular Goiter

Interactions between individual genetic and environmental factors determine the onset of the multi nodular goiter (MNG). The thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor (TSHR) gene is a convincing candidate gene in the pathogenesis of certain thyroid diseases including MNG. We investigated the codon 727 polymorphism (p.Asp727Glu, p.D727E) of the human TSHR gene using the polymerase chain reaction-rest...

RAGE Deficiency Impairs Bacterial Clearance in Murine Staphylococcal Sepsis, but Has No Significant Impact on Staphylococcal Septic Arthritis

BACKGROUND Septic arthritis is a serious joint disease often caused by Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus). Receptor for Advanced Glycation End products (RAGE) has an important role in several infections. We sought to investigate the role of RAGE in staphylococcal septic arthritis and sepsis in mice. METHODS Wild-type (WT) and RAGE deficient (RAGE-/-) mice were intra-articularly or intravenousl...

Conservation of digestive enzymes.

The traditional understanding is that an entirely new complement of digestive enzymes is secreted by the pancreas into the small intestines with each meal. This is thought to be necessary because, like food itself, these enzymes are degraded during digestion. In this review we discuss experiments that bring this point of view into question. They suggest that digestive enzymes can be absorbed in...
